Once you've chosen me as your celebrant, we begin gently discovering your story together through 'The Story of Us'. This is more than a questionnaire; it's a collection of thoughtful prompts and little invitations to remember, share and explore the memories that make your relationship yours. From the moment you met to the moments that made you laugh, cry, grow and fall even more in love, these are the details that can be woven into a ceremony that are uniquely your love story.
Ceremonies may be natural, spiritual, elemental or formal, or a gentle weaving of all. Held indoors or in nature, each space is created with care and presence, with support offered to help everything flow with ease and honour.
For me, the heart of this service is connection. I want you to feel completely comfortable sharing your wishes, so that your personalities, your stories and your love shine through. Together, we create a ceremony that feels meaningful, heartfelt and entirely yours.
We can meet in whatever way feels right — face to face, online, by phone or email — and I'm happy to work alongside planners and venues, weaving together the details so your ceremony flows beautifully and reflects exactly who you are.
Sometimes the words we want to say are the hardest to find. When someone we love dies, finding the right words to express a lifetime of memories, love and gratitude can feel overwhelming. I can help you gently find those words.
Together, we explore the memories, stories, feelings and little details you want to share. I then shape your thoughts into a personal eulogy or tribute that captures the heart of the person you loved, while keeping your own voice and meaning at the centre.
I can also help you find the words for your wedding vows — creating something personal and heartfelt that reflects your relationship and the promises you want to make.
As a published author and poet, I bring experience, sensitivity and creativity to every piece, taking the time to create something personal, meaningful and beautifully written.
The service includes a personal consultation of up to one hour. Additional fees may apply depending on the length, scope and complexity of the writing required.
In times of profound sadness and vulnerability, I offer ceremonies shaped with deep care, sensitivity, and compassion, guided by your wishes and those closest to you.
Words are thoughtfully created to reflect the essence of the person being remembered, shaped through gentle conversation and trust.
Whether through music, poetry, prayer or song, each farewell is personal and meaningful. Having held the farewell for my own beloved, I understand the importance of a heartfelt goodbye. I work alongside funeral directors to ensure the day flows with care and authenticity.
For funerals, your funeral director arranges payment of my agreed celebrant fee. Memorials and scattering of ashes are arranged directly with me, with the fee and payment arrangements agreed before we begin.
I will honour your wishes which are in alignment with current UK laws regarding ceremonies both indoors and in nature. I will discuss the order of music, any lighting of candles, any loved ones who wish to speak, the scattering of ashes and any other requirements you would like to include throughout the entire ceremony.
These ceremonies are a wonderful way to celebrate and welcome new family members to the world, as well as to celebrate milestones such as 18th and 21st birthdays, graduations, or any other special moment that you wish to celebrate in your own way.
Any verses, poems and declarations you need can be created by us together, if you so wish. This is where I will need as much information as possible about the person you are celebrating and what they mean to you. Personal sacred intentions, blessings and prayers can also be included if they feel right for you.
